John R. Hampton lll, MD, FACP, FACCP, attended the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine, and received his medical degree in 1968. Then, he served his internship at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, Virginia. Furthermore, he conducted his internal medicine residency at Keesler Medical Center at Keesler AFB in Biloxi, MS. In addition, he completed his fellowship training in pulmonary care at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas. Dr. Hampton received board certification in internal medicine and pulmonary medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine. He held previous board certifications in Critical Care and Geriatric Medicine. Moreover, Dr. Hampton is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians.
